Frequently asked questions

A complete, original nonfiction book written to your topic, delivered as a publish-anywhere kit: an EPUB (accepted by every major ebook store), a print-ready PDF for paperback printing, an original cover, and a metadata sheet with a store description, keywords and categories you can paste straight into Amazon KDP. Front matter — the author name you choose, a dedication, a preface — is included if you provide it. Two revision rounds are included too. $9.99 is the signup price for your first book; every book after it is $99, the regular price.

You do — fully and exclusively. The book is written for you as a commissioned work: publish it under your name or a pen name, on any platform, commercially or not, and keep 100% of what it earns. We claim no royalties, no credit and no license, and we never resell your book to anyone else.

Because you're paying for a production run, not a person's weeks. A freelance ghostwriter charges $500–$2,000+ for a book this size, and courses charge $1,000+ just to teach you to do it yourself — those prices are built on hand labour. Our studio runs one pipeline — research, writing, editing, cover, typesetting — end to end, so the whole kit costs a flat $99. Your first book is only $9.99 because we would rather you judged us on a book of your own than on a promise. We don't ask you to take that on faith: download any of our finished books free and judge the quality before you spend a cent.

Yes — the brief is yours to direct. Put your outline, chapter ideas or key points straight into the topic box, name the audience it's for, and add a preface in your own words if you want your voice to open the book. We write to your direction, and the two included revision rounds let you steer the result — ask us to expand a chapter, change the angle, or bring it closer to how you teach it.

Absolutely. Commission each book separately — same author name, same subject area — and you get a consistent voice and consistent formatting across the whole series, which is exactly what's hardest to get from one-off freelancers. There's no volume cap and no bulk pricing games: your first book is $9.99 and every one after it is $99, every book goes through the same review and the same pipeline. Many topics split naturally into a series of related problems; if you tell us the series plan in your brief, we'll write each volume to fit it.

To send your activation code. When you sign up we generate one six-digit code and send it two ways — to your email and by text — so you can activate even if one of them goes astray or lands in spam. It also keeps accounts to one per person, which is what lets us offer a $9.99 first book at all. We don't sell your number, and we don't send marketing texts: the only messages you'll get from us are about your own book.

It's produced by our studio using AI-assisted writing with editorial review — the same pipeline behind our own published books, which you can read free to judge the quality. Every book is also reviewed by a person before writing begins and checked again before delivery. If a retailer asks whether AI was involved when you publish (Amazon KDP does), the honest answer is yes — that's standard, disclosed at upload, and doesn't prevent publication.

Typically 24–48 hours from payment. Each book gets a full production run — research, chapters, editing, cover, typesetting — and books are written one at a time, so at busy moments delivery lands at the later end of that window. You'll get an email the moment your files are ready, and they'll be waiting on your account page.

Two revision rounds are included in the price — open your book page, tell us what to change, and we'll deliver a revised book next to your original. After those, each further revision is $20. For quick hands-on fixes (a typo, metadata, the table of contents), you can also open your EPUB in our free online EPUB editor any time, no account needed.

Yes. We write nonfiction only — no novels or short stories — and we decline anything illegal, deceptive, targeted at a private person, or designed to plagiarise an existing work. Every book is reviewed before writing begins, and we'll tell you promptly if yours isn't something we can take on.

Your account is created right on the order form — an email, a password and a mobile number, one account per email and per number. We send you an activation code by email and by text, but you don't have to wait for it: you can order and pay straight away. The account gives your books a permanent home you can re-download from any time. Delivery goes to your email and your account page together.

Yes, if you'd like. The kit is designed so you can publish it yourself in an afternoon — the metadata sheet maps one-to-one onto Amazon KDP's forms — and then every royalty is yours. If you'd rather not, once your book is delivered its page offers Publish it for me ($99, ISBN included): we publish it under your name on Amazon, Apple Books, Google Play, Kobo and more. When we publish, the royalties from those sales come to us, and you confirm that before paying. An ISBN on its own is $69. Details: other services.
