eBook Doctor

A free ChatGPT app by Global Scholar Press that gives ChatGPT the tools to inspect, repair, validate and convert EPUB files, check them against Amazon KDP rules, and install a cover.

How it works

Upload an EPUB in ChatGPT and ask it to fix the book. ChatGPT opens a private workspace on our server, runs the official EPUBCheck validator, applies targeted repairs, re-validates, and gives you a download link. Your original file is never modified. You can continue any repair in our free online EPUB editor.

Limits

EPUB files up to 80 MB.
Workspaces and download links are deleted automatically 24 hours after the last activity.
No account is needed; the workspace id ChatGPT holds is the only key to your file — do not share it.
DRM-protected books cannot be repaired.
To delete a book before the 24 hours are up, ask ChatGPT to close it or use Erase my book on the book page. What we store and return is described in the eBook Doctor app privacy policy.
